The Owosso Aerie of Eagles was organized in Owosso in 1904.
In 1908, the lodge bought the former home of M.L. Stewart at 308 North Washington Street and converted it into the Eagles Nest.
The building burned down in 1949, and the Eagles built a new brick building on the same site.
Tammy Madden Fisher notes that it was also the home of the Knights of Columbus in the 40s and has found interesting artifacts in the basement.
