Era: Early 1900s
Location: Southeast corner of Water and Exchange Streets
The Union Telephone office building once stood on the southeast corner of Water and Exchange Streets, connecting Owosso to the wider world through the miracle of telephone communication.
In an era when a telephone call was still something special, the Union Telephone office served as a hub of communication for the community.
Like so many historic Owosso buildings, it was eventually demolished. The area is now a parking lot.
